  1. The historical Palace Dar El Bacha 


    Bacha Coffee is a coffee place located in one of the best Moroccan architectural palaces with historical value. It Has been famous by the name of Dar el bacha which means '' the house of Basha '', was the residence of '' Thami El Glaoui '' who was given the title of pasha (roughly "governor" or other high official) of Marrakech by the Sultan Moulay Youssef in 1912. For years he was the most powerful political figure of the Moroccan south under French rule. He built his private palace in 1910 on a lavish scale to impress guests. Some illustrious guests who visited Dar el Bacha include Colette, Maurice Ravel, Charlie Chaplin, Josephine Baker, and Winston Churchill.


  2. Museum Dar El Bacha and Coffee Bacha 

    The Pasha's House is a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture, from the zellige in unusual shapes and colors such as yellow to the carved gypsum panels covering entire walls, to the carved and painted woods, as well as the brilliantly designed water supply and drainage system.

The palace closed for over 60 years and reopened in 2019 after extensive restoration, inviting visitors to explore Moroccan architecture and taste exceptional coffee. The venue offers an extraordinary selection of over 200 single-origin coffees from around the world.

Visitors will explore the architectural masterpiece while savoring coffee arabica in an elegant setting, experiencing the Moroccan charm of Dar El Bacha. The palace showcases a harmonious blend of traditional Moroccan elements: intricate zellige tilework, carved cedar wood ceilings, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Every corner of the palace tells a story of Morocco's rich cultural heritage, from ornate courtyards to grand reception halls.

  • Dar El Bacha Museum: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

  • Bacha Coffee: Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM


Bacha Coffee's exceptional quality stems from its diverse flavor spectrum. The roasting process brings out unique characteristics in each coffee bean, ranging from sweet and fruity to nutty, chocolatey, spicy, burnt, and even winey notes.
